IRS Audit and Collection Representation![]()
Accounting and Tax Services"Few things can be more frustrating than dealing with a large government bureaucracy. Arcane administrative procedures, unknowledgable tax auditors, and an agressive internal culture have made the IRS infamous over the years. Though Congress has instituted legislation to get the IRS to "tone down" its unfriendly practices, don't be mistaken: if you get an audit letter from the IRS, they are not coming to see you because they intend to give you a refund."
"I generally offer two types of audit representation services. "Limited" service is a simple review of IRS findings which you believe are correct, but want to be sure of before agreeing to. This type of service can usually be provided for a flat fee based upon the complexity of calculations to be provided. "Full" service is complete end-to-end representation from the time when you are notified of audit until the assessment is completed. I will deal with tax auditors, revenue agents, IRS management, appeals, and IRS attorneys to resolve issues at the lowest possible cost to you."
"As a taxpayer you have rights. I know your rights and do everything possible to make sure that those rights are respected by IRS personnel at every stage of the tax assessment process. In addition, I have the accounting and tax knowledge needed to correct errors made by tax auditors and revenue agents. When such errors consist of misinterpretation of facts or tax law, I assertively represent you before IRS management and/or appeals. My experience as a former IRS revenue agent is also invaluable in determining which issues are most likely to be negotiated by the IRS due to the hazards of litigation."
